For corporates and investors
stiffedby is a small, self-funded initiative built around one idea: individuals have a legal right to see what personal data an organisation holds on them, and most never exercise it because the process feels more complicated than it actually is. The free tool on the previous page — a template and an AI prompt pair — exists to remove that friction, with no cost, login, or data collection involved.
To be clear: this doesn't give legal or financial advice, and nothing here is sector-specific guidance — the tool's job is to help draft a well-formed request, nothing more. That's a deliberate boundary, not a matter of scale.
Seeing what an organisation actually holds, and how it has described someone internally, is often the first concrete step people take before deciding whether anything further is worth pursuing — a conversation, a complaint, or advice from a source like Citizens Advice or the ICO.
This is deliberately not being built into an active business. Operating it as one — offering guidance rather than a neutral drafting tool — isn't the direction I want to take it. Instead, it's run as a low-maintenance resource, with the domain portfolio itself available to someone better placed to develop it further.
